A pharmacist and an aesthetician walk into a lab. That's the story.

Making clinical beauty
MAKE SENSE

The rigour stays in the lab. What reaches you is simple: actives chosen for a reason, textures you'll crave, and honest labels.

Origin story

Between the two of us: stubborn acne, strawberry skin, a scalp with commitment issues, and a shelf of products that looked promising, but performed like a coin toss.

Meanwhile, the internet decided some ingredients were scary. We'd like a word.

We met on a livestream during lockdown, bonded over sunscreens we couldn't buy, and asked the obvious question: why not make what doesn't exist?

And we stopped waiting.

Sreeja brings back the problems her clients keep asking about. We formulate, test on ourselves, argue about it, and launch only once it clears the checklist.

We're also done with an industry that treats people like they can't read an ingredient list. You can. We'll show our work.

Savera Shah
Savera Shah
Pharmacist + co-founder

Pharmacist with a derm & beauty background. She's worked with dermatologists across the country and built haircare and beauty for some of India's biggest names. During lockdown, she started an Instagram to fight "toxic," "clean," and "no nasties." Off the clock: hair thinning and strawberry skin since her teens. She'd read the studies and worked the launches. She still couldn't find the product. So she made it.

Sreeja Shrestha
Sreeja Shrestha
Aesthetician + co-founder

Aesthetician with an MSc in Psychology (specialising in Fashion Psych) and CIBTAC Level 4 training from London, where she worked with models on their skin and the confidence tied to it. Her dissertation was on adult acne and well-being, a topic she'd been researching since she was 13. She's usually the one who walks in with "my clients keep asking for…" and then we're back in the lab.

House rules

Problem first. Product second.

We start with what's actually wrong, then build from zero.

Every ingredient has a job.

If it isn't pulling its weight, it's out.

Evidence > hype.

We read the studies so our claims don't have to exaggerate.

Effective ≠ boring.

High-performance actives in textures you'll actually want to use.
